Although Maya was born in Germany, she has grown up in Rossland, BC. She loves the outdoor community and the welcoming atmosphere of the town. She is currently in grade 7 at Rossland Summit School. In her spare time, Maya attends Girl Guide meetings, loves to read and would be happy to do anything outdoors. Maya joined the team for the first time this year after moving up from Track Attack and is excited to spend the year racing and training with the Black Jack Ski Team.
