Come and ski with us this winter! Learning the basics of cross country skiing will open the door to a lifetime of fun and fitness!
The Jackrabbits program offers cross country ski lessons throughout the winter for kids ages 3*-12. (3 year olds must be accompanied by parent)
Programs:
- Bunnies (Ages 4-5) $60
- Sunday Only
- Jackrabbits (Ages 6-12) (level 1 & 2) – $120
- Sunday and Tuesday
- Jackrabbits (Ages 8-12) (level 3 & 4)- $140
- Sunday and Tuesday
- Includes fall dryland training
Skier Development Scholarships Available Through Kidsport!
Kidsport is a provincial organization that provides supports participation in organized sport through removing financial barriers. Please consider applying for a scholarship – visit www.kidsportcanada.ca for more information.
Voluteer Requirements:
Black jack is a club run almost entirely by volunteers – luckily there is much talent in the community!! Please share yours with us to facilitate awesome lessons for your kids. Parents are required to sign up for at least 4 volunteer tasks over the course of the season (volunteer coaches are exempt!) Tasks include hot chocolate duty, mug duty, snack duty, hut parent, on-snow helper, special events helper…or …come up with your own awesome job to help out!! Sign up sheet will be at registration, at the Powderhound during November, and at lessons.
