With all them old folks down in Utah for the US Junior Nationals, there were only a couple of us left to attend Black Jack’s own Kootenay cup and Loppet this past weekend. Many of the young Jackrabbits came out though, and made up for the lacking numbers in theolder categories. I only made it to the classic race on Sunday, which turned out to be a klister day. That’s always fun. Despite the few numbers and sticky skis, both race days were a success and Black Jack managed to win the 2012 Kootenay Cup Overall.
