A small contingent of the Black Jack racing squad is currently competing in Thunder Bay at the World Junior Trials. Thursday was the Junior Men’s 20km Pursuit. In what began as a tight race on a twisty, congested classic course, David lead the charge throughout the skate portion to finish 5th, only seconds out of the medals. After skiing with the leaders until the exchange, Julien finished in 15th.
